Terms of Sale

What is included in a K9 SODA working dog sale and what is not.

This text outlines the intended scope of the policy. It must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before being relied on for a transaction or operational decision.

Dog identity

Each dog sold is identified by public ID, microchip number (verified), pedigree where applicable and the signed sale agreement.

Health documentation

Health documentation provided at sale includes the most recent veterinary examination, vaccination record and microchip verification. Additional documents (hip/elbow, genetic tests, pedigree) are provided where applicable and listed in the agreement.

Known conditions

Any known health condition at the time of sale will be disclosed in writing. Buyers accept the dog with full disclosure of known conditions.

Scope of evaluation

Working evaluation describes what has been observed and tested. It does not guarantee future certification, scoring or performance.

Buyer inspection

Buyers are encouraged to inspect the dog in person or via live remote evaluation before reservation.

Reservation and deposit

A reservation is confirmed by a non-refundable deposit. The reservation period and conditions are stated in the agreement. See the Reservation Policy.

Final payment and ownership transfer

Ownership transfers on receipt of full payment and signed handover, subject to any destination requirements.

Transport and risk

Transport responsibility and risk transfer points are stated in the agreement. See the Transport and Export Policy.

Destination import responsibility

Buyers are responsible for confirming and meeting import requirements at the destination, including any licences or quarantine.

Training limitations

Training level describes work completed at K9 SODA. Continued performance depends on the handler, environment and ongoing maintenance.

Complaint period

Any concern about identity, health disclosure or scope of evaluation must be raised within the period stated in the agreement, with supporting evidence.

Replacement and dispute

Replacement conditions, dispute resolution and governing law are stated in the signed agreement.
