Transport and Export Policy
How dogs are prepared, documented and transported to the buyer.
Draft — pending legal review
This text outlines the intended scope of the policy. It must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before being relied on for a transaction or operational decision.
Provider selection
Transport is arranged with approved ground and air providers. We do not use providers we cannot verify.
Documentation
Each dog travels with export permit, veterinary certificate, pet passport and any destination-specific paperwork. Documents are confirmed before departure.
Crates
Travel crates meet IATA standards and are matched to size and route length. Crates are prepared and labelled before pickup.
Risk transfer
Risk transfer points (at handover, at airport drop-off, at destination handover) are defined in the sale agreement.
Delays
Carrier delays caused by weather, customs or operational changes are managed jointly with the buyer. We do not guarantee specific delivery windows during disruption.
Buyer responsibilities
- Confirming destination import requirements before scheduling.
- Securing any local licences or permits.
- Receiving the dog at the agreed handover point.
- Arranging onward transport from the arrival airport when applicable.
